Beautiful signage solutions, custom indoor fabric banners from Signs By Tomorrow are popular for retail promotions including point-of-purchase (POP) displays. These fabric advertising banners are also a prime choice for use as event banners. You’ll see them widely used at trade shows, galleries, charity galas, premieres and special occasions of many other types!
Among their many benefits, our lightweight, wrinkle-resistant custom cloth banners hang beautifully. Because of the tightness of the weave and the thinness of the threads, fabric indoor banners offer exceptional print quality. Plus, light reflection is minimal. The result? The logo, graphics and text of your custom design are presented to viewers with unsurpassed quality and elegance!
Other advantages to our fabric banners? They’re highly economical when compared to many other choices. They are also relatively quick to design, print and deliver. Have a good promotional opportunity coming up? Think fabric banners!
Amazingly versatile, custom indoor fabric banners from Signs By Tomorrow can be mounted in many ways. For example, specify corner grommets (i.e., metal eyelets) on your event banners and fabric advertising banners. With screws and washers, you can mount your custom fabric banners to concrete, wood or other rigid backgrounds. You can also use rope or bungee cords to attach the corner grommets to poles or other stationary objects. Or, hang them from a wall, ceiling or window using a string.
When suspended from a custom frame, our cloth banners often serve as step-and-repeat banners or as background banners. Use them at press conferences, premieres, trade shows or other events when a logoed, neutral backdrop will enhance the presentation or support your branding.
Another option? Have us create your custom cloth banner with sewn-in pole pockets on the top and bottom. This way, you can easily suspend them from horizontal poles that extend, for example, from a structural support or trade show booth element.
Fabric banners also gain application at table throws or tablecloths at conventions. They drape beautifully over display tables. The same high-quality printing quality that makes them so appealing as close-up signage applies, of course, to tables!
Not really. Signs By Tomorrow can create custom fabric banners just about as big or small as you need them to be. Of course, extra-large size fabric banners will probably require additional production time for printing, sewing and hemming.
Fabric banners are made from polyester including poly poplin and poly satin fabrics whereas vinyl banners are constructed of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Havier in weight and weather resistant, PVC is ideal for use outdoors.
On the other hand, fabric banners offer a higher-quality appearance than vinyl banners. They also hang beautifully; you can stretch fabric banners to remove any wrinkles. Custom fabric banners are easier to transport between applications if used, for example, at trade shows or from year-to-year at seasonal events. You can roll or fold our fabric event banners and fabric advertising banners without worrying about creases.
Poly poplin material is typically used for full-color trade show backdrops. It’s lightweight, wrinkle-resistant and washable. As for poly satin, it provides a beautiful silk-like finish but without the high cost of silk! Because of this, museums, galleries and designer boutiques often specify poly satin material for custom indoor fabric banners used as POP displays, graphics projects and exhibit promotions.
Custom fabric banners are more stretchable than vinyl banners but less so than tension fabric. For the long-term beauty and usefulness of your fabric banners, it's best to keep stretching to a minimum. Extended stretching of your custom fabric banner can damage the weave, tear the microfibers and distort its shape.
Our custom fabric banners are designed to deliver excellent value over time. The fabric is both fade resistant and scratch resistant, which is why they sometimes do double-duty as tablecloths. That said, custom cloth banners are not tear resistant. Sharp objects can damage the fabric.
Yes, for short-term applications but longer-term installations out-of-doors is not recommended. The lightweight qualities that make our custom fabric banners so ideal for indoor use are a detriment in windy, sunny or rainy applications. For long-term outdoor banner solutions, we recommend custom vinyl banners. They are more durable and weather resistant.
Regular washing of your custom fabric banner will help ensure a clean, professional appearance. Care is easy. Our fabric banners can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle. Just be sure to lay them flat or hang them to dry. Beware: Do not tumble dry, iron or bleach your custom fabric banner. If you do, permanent damage to the fabric can result.
Begin by rolling the fabric banner with the printed side facing out. Your fabric banner should then be stored at room temperature in a dry location. If after storage or shipping any wrinkles or creases appear, use a hand steamer to remove them. Of course, if you stretch your custom banners when displaying it, any creases or wrinkles will also go away.
